Altra vegada tornem a Suècia, on a part de l'ikea i ABBA, també n'han sortit d'altres aspectes a destacar.
El 1999 comença la història de Colony 5, grup de synthpop, fundat per P-O Svensson i Magnus Löfdahl.
Tenen 5 discs al mercat, el darrer dels quals ha sortit aquest any: Buried Again, aquest amb un so més fosc que els anteriors. En algunes cançons la veu sona similar al cantant d'Elegant Machinery, Robert Enforce, fins i tot arriba a generar dubtes com a la cançó Black, però tot i això no sona a una còpia.
A destacar la cançó Hate del disc Structures del 2003.
