Per fi va arribar el dia. No sé perquè tenia tants nervis, doncs per mi The Cure és un grup que m'agrada (molt), però que no ha marcat especialment la meva vida.
És un grup que té molt bones cançons, però he de reconèixer que les que més m'agraden són les típiques, els singles. La resta l'he deixat bastant oblidada i, probablement, ha estat un error.
Tot i això, vaig poder disfrutar del concert, de les 3h (i "pico") que va durar, de la música i dels singles que tant m'apassionen. D'acord, estan grans, en Robert Smith està gras, ronden els 50 tacos (per favor!) però qui pot dir que aguanta un concert de més de 3h? Estan en plena forma i pagar 40€ val la pena.
El concert va començar més o menys puntual (21.30h) després d'escoltar uns estranys teloners "65 days of static". L'escenografia era molt bàsica, només llums i 3 pantalles allargades a darrere on es mostraven algunes imatges en funció de les cançons que anaven sonant.
Enmig dels seus clàssics, vam poder escoltar 2-3 cançons del nous disc, que sortirà al maig. El setlist val la pena anomenar-lo, doncs és espectacular:
